About the process

The M&A Community (advisors, PE funds, VC funds, involved dealmakers) endorses deals for the M&A Awards. Out of these endorsements, an experienced jury chooses the nominees and winners in accordance with the criteria defined in the regulations. Read more about the process here.

As from the 2021 edition, Vlerick Business School is Knowledge Partner of the M&A Awards.

An experienced jury

Six captains of industry and experts cast their votes for each of the Awards categories. In 2023, we welcome Lieve Creten as the new chairwoman of the jury. She takes over from Urbain Vandeurzen, who was the chairman of the jury for five years. You can read more about the members of the jury here.
